Richmond Elite Martial Arts proudly announces that several students have successfully earned their Black Belts following a rigorous and comprehensive Black Belt testing held recently at the academy.
The Black Belt test challenged students both physically and mentally, evaluating their technique, conditioning, self-defense skills, discipline, and perseverance. Candidates trained for months in preparation, demonstrating not only martial arts skill, but also character, leadership, and commitment to personal growth. The following students from Richmond ranked up Friday night: John Hurst, Brittney Shelby, Brooklyn Cox, Alan Gerber, Liam Robertson, Talia Schmitz, Jonah Boulden, Ryleigh Hurst, and Tyson Davis
“Earning a Black Belt is a life achievement, not just a rank,” said the leadership team at Richmond Elite. “These students pushed through fatigue, pressure, and adversity. They proved they have what it takes to lead by example both on and off the mat,” said Chief Instructor John Hurst
Family members, friends, and fellow students attended the test and ceremony to show their support and celebrate the accomplishments. The newly promoted Black Belts now serve as role models within the academy and community, representing the values of respect, confidence, and perseverance taught at Winchester Elite.
Richmond Elite Martial Arts offers programs for children, teens, and adults, focusing on self-defense, fitness, confidence, and character development.
