From Baptist Health: In response to the COVID-19 vaccine communication sent earlier today, we would like to provide you with additional clarification regarding vaccine availability at Baptist Health.
We understand many are eager to receive the vaccine, and look forward to administering it to additional populations as soon as possible. While the vaccine is available and approved for public use, quantities are currently limited and are being distributed according to the phases outlined by Kentucky and Indiana government officials. Currently we are in phase 1A, which is meant for healthcare personnel, people in long-term care facilities, as well as those in assisted living facilities.
As vaccines become available for those in additional phases, we look forward to communicating that information out to you.
