Richmond police have announced the arrest of a man in connection with a bank robbery that occurred earlier this year.
On April 29, at approximately 10:53 am, Richmond Police responded to Whitaker Bank on Brandy Lane in reference to a bank robbery that had just occurred. The suspect entered the bank demanding money and then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
During the response and preliminary investigation, officers obtained images of the suspect and his vehicle. Following an in-depth investigation, the Richmond Police Department partnered with multiple law enforcement agencies and identified the suspect as 44 year old Jeffery Pratt of Cynthia.
On June 24, 2022, Richmond Police charged Pratt with Robbery 2nd degree in connection with this incident. Pratt is currently being held in the Bourbon County Detention Center.
