The Coronavirus is responsible for the cancellation of numerous public events recently. Although the event is not cancelled as of yet, the Richmond Area Arts Council has decided to postpone its annual Celtic Festival “indefinitely”.
According to a social media post on the Executive Director of the RAAC’s page, the decision comes “due to various cancellations related to issues concerning public health and the coronavirus.”
Currently, the Council hopes to reinstate the event date towards the end of March, but that decision will be based primarily upon the state of public health during that time.
