The Kenwood Health & Rehabilitation Center hosted a competition within its units to see who donates the most canned and non-perishable food items.
The collected food items will be transferred to the God’s Outreach and from there, it will be distributed to anyone who are in need of the food items. Janice Jackson and Andy Smith gives us the details on the competition.
Every year, the facility tries to do something different to benefit the community. Throughout the years, they have done yard sales, coat drives for local schools, and many more. This is their first time doing the food drive war.
In a week and a half, they were able to collect over 2,000 non perishable food items.
