The Berea Police Department is reminding the community about their Prescription Drug Take-Back program.
This program provides an environmentally safe alternative to disposing of medications in the landfill or sewer systems which may later negatively affect the environment.
In addition, it also encourages citizens to remove their unneeded medications from their homes, which reduces access to addictive medications for accidental or intentional misuse by children or adults in the home.
