A Lawrenceburg woman is now behind bars here in Madison County following a lengthy report with multiple charges including terroristic threatening, disorderly conduct, and drug charges.
According to the initial report, officers arrived at a residence in Anderson County to find 29-year-old Sarah Young allegedly attempting to shoot up drugs and in the possession of suspected methamphetamine following a complaint call.
Police arrived at the scene to speak to the homeowner, who said that Young had banged on his door and demanded to enter so she would have a place to inject drugs.
Police report that during transport to the jail, Young allegedly made threats to the officer including property damage and bodily harm. The citation details that Young also threatened to take her own life in a variety of ways while being transported to the jail.
Officers report that they attempted to make arrangements for Young to attend a treatment center as opposed to a jail stay, but she refused the arrangements that were made for her and was, according to the citation, argumentative with the rehab workers over the phone.
A judge was contacted, and Young was transported to Eastern State instead at this time because of the suicidal threats and alleged belligerent behavior.
However, she then threatened the officer, saying that she would tell authorities that they touched her inappropriately.
Young was located on the Eastern Bypass by Richmond Police and served with the warrant regarding the above case.
