Local authorities are on the scene of a reported shooting on Baldwin Street in Berea tonght.
One person was shot and taken by ambulance for treatment. WBON-TV9 has learned that the Madison County Coroner’s office has now been called to the Berea Hospital.
Eyewitnesses tell WBON-TV9 the person was shot by someone in a passing vehicle. That has not been confirmed by officials at this time.
The shooting happened after 9 pm Monday evening.
Berea Police say they are actively searching for a suspect tonight.
