A Richmond Man was charged with Public Intoxication and Fleeing Police. Bryan Beagel was found by Richmond Police officers early Monday morning stumbling around in the roadway on Commercial Drive. Officers stopped their vehicles behind Beagel and asked him to approach them multiple times. Beagel kept walking and then began to run from police.
In a Twist of events, Beagel jumped down from a concrete wall and twisted his ankle during the pursuit, causing him to lay on the ground in pain. Once officers identified the man and called EMS, he was medically cleared, arrested and taken to the Madison County Detention Center.
