If you were lucky enough to attend Vibes In The Vines Saturday night at Chenault Winery, you were treated to first-rate entertainment. The weather was fine, and the entertainers were some of the best to visit Madison County.
Sarah Beth Terry opened the show, and the Nashville singer-songwriter treated the crowd to her special voice and music. Sam L. Smith was next up, and this Season 21 American Idol contestant was the second treat of the evening.
The Goodwin Brothers were next up, and this award-winning team always lights up the stage. Their harmonies make you appreciate their music and want more. One of my favorite photos of the night that was posted on the Internet was Jonathan Goodwin’s son in the arms of his mother watching his father on the big screen.
Hannah Ellis followed The Goodwin Brothers, and she lit up the stage with her voice and music. The Campbellsville native and niece of Daniel Ellis is working with Curb Records and has a fabulous voice. Jamie O’Neal was next up and was accompanied by her husband, Rodney Good on stage. Her voice and his guitar made for a nice set and was well received by the crowd.
Pam Tillis and her band closed out the evening. Pam had the crowd up dancing and singing with every song. “Maybe It Was Memphis” has always been a favorite of mine, and I must thank Pam for singing this song.
Last but not least, the fireworks show was one of the best of the week. The fireworks capped off the evening, and I’m sure rattled Madison County. Thank you, Chenault Winery and Jonathan Goodwin for helping Madison County celebrate the Fourth of July this year!
