According to the Powell County Sheriff’s office, early this Wednesday morning, 5/25/22 at approximately 3:00am, Deputy Hunter Martin arrested 53 year old Bobby Watkins of Powell County, who, according to the report, was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and Fentanyl.
The Department had been investigating a recent overdoes case and adds they had received anonymous tips stating Watkins was participating in trafficking in the Clay City area. Watkins was arrested on the following charges:
– Traff in Cont Sub, 1ST Deg, 2ND Offense (Methamphetamine)
– Traff in Cont Sun, 1ST Deg, 2ND Offense (Heroin)- Drug Paraphernalia (Buy/Possess)
