Richmond Police Department recently arrested a man after his vehicle was allegedly seen weaving in and out of lanes near Exit 90.
The officer initiated a traffic stop, where the driver, Nathan Gerald Jones said he was exiting his lane multiple times because he was “opening a bag of candy”.
Consent was given to search the vehicle, at which time the officer located suspected heroin, methamphetamine, and multiple kinds of pills. Jones allegedly admitted to ownership of all drugs found, and told the officer that he had “made the meth himself out of wasp spray”.
He was arrested and charged with possession of all the above drugs, and remains in the Madison County Detention Center.
