One student from Pulaski County High School was taken into custody Wednesday after a stabbing incident in school.
According to Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Facebook, there was an altercation between to male students involving a knife.
The incident happened during class change in a boy’s restroom at around 1 P.M. School officials were able to hold the student body in place until the situation was secured. No other students were involved.
One student was injured and transported to the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital helipad and flown to University of Kentucky Hospital.
The juvenile assailant was charged with 1st degree assault.
