One person is dead after reports say that she was struck by a train in Harrodsburg Friday morning.
The incident occurred on the tracks near Factory Street. Officials said that a female was on the tracks when a passing Norfolk Southern train struck her. She did not get out of the way in time.
According to our news partner LEX18, the first 911 call came in at 4:51 A.M.
No identification was found on her. Her body has been sent to Frankfort for an autopsy.
Scene is cleared.
