Authorities first confirmed to WBON-TV, and other major media outlets, that one person was killed tonight, and others injured in an accident in Madison County. According to Richmond Police, one vehicle pulled onto Duncannon Lane from the exit ramp and was struck by another vehicle.
Richmond Police remain on scene tonight as investigators and reconstructionist work the scene, but now say that person, thought deceased, continues to cling to life.
Both the Northbound Off Ramp and Southbound Off Ramp are closed at this time, and officials say, they will be for several hours as this crash is investigated.
