WBON-TV9 has learned one person has died as a result of injuries sustained in a head on, multi vehicle accident around 4:30 p.m. Friday April 8, 2022, in Madison County. The accident occurred on a stretch of HWY 627 Boonesborough Road that locals report seeing accidents there with some regularity. The accident scene is nearby the new Boonesborough Elementary School.
Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison tells WBON that “it’s almost 24 hours after the accident, no next of kin for the victim has come forward or has been able to be located to officially notify or identify the deceased.” Cornelison went on to say the deceased is a 35 year old female with an address listed as a Richmond trailer park. Cornelison says the residence was more of a camp type trailer. If you can help identifying and getting in touch with any next of kin please contact the Coroner’s office.
