They also told us a little story behind their success with the first restaurant Brady’s Sushi and Hibachi and how they started. Wen didn’t jump on the idea of starting the Brady’s at first but Wan managed to persuade her.

The couple previously worked at China King. They managed to seize the opportunity to open up their own restaurant and crafted the business model to make Brady’s Sushi and Hibachi successful.

Wen and Wan was originally from the same town in China and went to elementary school together. Both moved to the United States and the couple rekindled over 10 years later.

Wan went to middle school at Model and graduated college from UK with an Engineering degree. Wen is from New York.

Wan told WBONTV that he gained his inspiration and cooking background from his parents’ restaurant, China King. As Wan’s parents loses ownership of China King, the couple is looking to preserve its unique recipe.

The new restaurant is expected to open sometime in May and it will be located on 511 Eastern Bypass where the old Enterprise used to be.
