Do you have a barn, stable, hay building? The Madison County Humane Society is in need of several barn homes for some unfortunate kitties that have lost their caregivers. These kitties must be relocated quickly. The majority of the cats are feral, but they know where their food comes from. They will wait patiently off to the side while you prepare their food.
The Humane Society Animal League for Life, will spay or neuter, vaccinate, and treat for parasites the cats prior to them going to their new barn (or other) home. They can also advise you on how to properly acclimate the cats to their new home as well as providing the necessary supplies to get started with the process. Donations towards the spay and neuter of these kitties are also welcome and appreciated. The Humane Society is located on Big Hill Avenue across from the old Swifty Gas Station in Richmond.
