Our break from the rain is going to be short-lived. With today being the summer solstice, we will get to enjoy it a little longer today than any other day of the year. Sunrise this morning was at 6:16 am and sunset this evening will be a 9:02, giving us about 15 hours of daylight on the longest day of the year.
Highs today will reach into the low 80’s with overnight lows falling into the upper 60’s. As we move through the overnight, a new line of potentially severe storms will move across the state.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for the area through tomorrow morning, no surprise with all the rain we have had recently.
Tomorrow, we are looking at more rain along with strong to severe storms with highs in the mid 80’s.
Sunday, more of the same, more rain, more stroms and another day of mid 80 highs.
