Laurel County Sheriff John Root reports the Laurel Sheriff’s drug interdiction unit and Justin Taylor, along with drug interdiction unit Landry Collett arrested George Couch, JR age 41 of Slate Lick Rd., London early Friday morning July 8, 2022 at approximately 12:45 AM.
The arrest occurred near a business off US 25 approximately 2 miles north of London after this subject was found in possession of suspected meth, pills, digital scales, and a hypodermic syringe. George Couch, JR was charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance – third-degree; possession of drug paraphernalia; prescription-controlled substances not in proper container – first offense.
