Prosecution is pending on local property owners following a months-long drug investigation resulting in the seizure of a large scale marijuana grow operation, according to police.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Department reports that On Wednesday December 7th, 2021 after receiving multiple complaints of suspected narcotics activity deputies executed a search warrant at 2027 Union City Road. Subsequent the execution of this search warrant, and with the assistance of members with AHIDTA – Madison County Drug Task Force, Investigators and Deputies found approximately 159 marijuana plants, 68 pounds of processed marijuana, and paraphernalia related to the marijuana grow and cultivation process.
