Today, Kentucky State Police Post 7 in Richmond says the discovery of a body has been conclusively identified as 61-year-old Millard ‘Clem’ Mason, previously reported missing, from Stanford.
Authority’s say his body was found in some woods near Robertstown Road in Kings Mountain.
Mason was reported missing about a week ago.
An autopsy is scheduled at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort to determine the cause of death. Authorities note that foul play is not suspected.
Detective Frank Thornberry with KSP Post 7 is heading up the investigation.
