You may have noticed an increased presence of military vehicles moving throughout Madison County today.
Known as operation Patriot Bandolier, the convoy utilizes active duty and national guard components as well as the department of Armed Civilians.
According to Jarred Turner, a Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge at the Depot, “these exercises are important. They not only let army leaders know how fast they deploy supplies but it also gives soldiers at all levels the ability to hone their skills in a non- combat environment.”
