Two men that asked police for assistance after they allegedly ran out of gas near four mile Tuesday got more than they bargained for: including a large amount of drug charges. The two men, 30 year old Ricky Crider and 33 year old Richard Mullins had asked police for help, but it was found that both were wanted on three separate warrants each and they were subsequently detained. A bag weighing over 33 grams with suspected methamphetamine was allegedly found on Mullins following a search, as well as a handgun. Suspected suboxone and more methamphetamine was also located in the vehicle. Both men had been previously facing charges for trafficking in methamphetamine, and had the indictment warrants out of Floyd County. They were charged with new drug offenses, and are lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
