Early this morning David Jaggie, the Band Director at MCHS attended a presentation of two checks: one from city itself and the other from Richmond Tourism.
The checks are to be put to good use by helping get the local band to New York for a chance to represent Madison County. The award winning band got the news last year that they earned the opportunity to perform and march in the famous Macy’s day Parade.
It has been a steady-paced grind for the band to earn money for the trip and these two checks are sure to help the band reach their goals. For footage of the presentation watch the attached video!
