Madison County Sheriff’s Office report that they recently took a man into custody but not before he took police on a foot chase and struggle. On Wednesday March 23rd, at approximately two am, Deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2400 block of Red House Road for traffic violations.
Throughout the course of the investigation, it was determined that the male passenger of the vehicle was providing false information about his identity. The male passenger fled on foot from the scene of the traffic stop and was later apprehended after a brief struggle. The passenger was identified as Jason Caskey; who was found to have five outstanding warrants for his arrest: four out of Montgomery County Circuit Court and one out of Menifee County Circuit Court.
Additionally, as a result of the traffic stop, Jason Caskey was charged with the following: • GIVING OFFICER FALSE IDENTIFYING INFORMATION • THEFT OF IDENTITY OF ANOTHER W/O CONSENT • FLEEING OR EVADING POLICE, 2ND DEGREE (ON FOOT) • RESISTING ARREST
