A man acting incoherently was taken into custody this morning after Richmond Police responded to the bizarre scene on I-75. An officer arriving on the scene just before 8 a.m. discovered 30-year-old Patrick Doncov of Michigan on the southbound lane throwing objects at passing vehicles. The officer also located what appeared to be the subjects vehicle near the 83 exit southbound. Several compartments were open with items strewn around the scene from the vehicle. According to the officers report, Doncov was pacing, throwing his hands up talking nonsense.
A semi-truck was also located further down the exit ramp, with a hammer lodged in its windshield, apparently thrown by the subject. Doncov is in the Madison Detention Center charged with Wanton Endangerment and Criminal Mischief, both first degree and sexual abuse third degree.
