A man in Lexington was put behind bars following allegations that he burned a dog named Lilah. According to social media posts from the Lexington Humane Society, there is an open investigation into the burning of the dog by Brandon Combs.
The Humane Society said that, “While we cannot shower her with pets and snuggles, we have found that food is her love language, so we shower her with treats and goodies.”
Combs is now facing the charge of torture of dog with serious physical injury or death and was lodged in the Lexington/Fayette County Correctional Center. According to the detention center site, his bond is set at $5,000.
