Alphonso Brinson, 60, is facing multiple charges after allegedly assaulting and threatening various first responders.
Police responded to Madison Health and Rehab Center on Saturday evening due to his making suicidal statements, according to an arrest citation. Brinson, apparently hit both police officers and paramedics.
He was booked into the Madison County Detention Center, where he remained Wednesday morning, according to online jail records on the website.
