The Berea Police Department arrested a man Tuesday in reference to a disturbance at Pittsburgh Glass Works in Berea.
19-year-old Tayvion Robertson was running on Menelaus Rd. when police apprehended and took him into custody without incident.
Robertson allegedly threw a rock into a rack of windshields at PGW causing two windshields to be shattered. Reports say that Robertson turned over several holding racks and was also throwing things such as a chair and a napkin dispenser inside the factory. Several things were reportedly broken including two glass shadow boxes inside the break room area, glass medicine containers, and communications board.
The on-shift supervisor advised the cost to repair and the property damage loss was reported at $1,000.00.
Robertson was taken to the Madison County Detention Center and charged with 1st degree criminal mischief.
