A Laurel County man is facing charges after allegedly using an electric cattle prod on his children. According to the Laurel County Sheriff office, Sheriff’s Deputy Greg Poynter arrested Anthony L. Jones, age 32, of East Bernstadt on Friday morning March 31, 2023 around 10:15 AM.
The arrest occurred off Littontown Road, approximately 4 miles north of London following an investigation conducted by Deputy Poynter. Deputy Poynter acted on two complaint warrants . The first charged four counts of criminal abuse – third-degree – child 12 or under. The second arrest charged one count of criminal abuse – third-degree.
Anthony Jones was lodged in the Laurel County correctional center.
