A man was recently arrested after police responded to a complaint of a male shooting at another male subject.
According to a citation, the victim stated that 34-year-old Nigel Miller was staying the night at his residence when they got into an argument, and Miller was asked to leave the residence.
Miller instead went into the bedroom and returned with a semi automatic pistol. He allegedly fired 6 or 7 rounds towards the victim’s general direction at the door.
Police report that 5 bullet holes were seen ranging from the door, wall and floor. A black 40 caliber hand gun was found in Miller’s vehicle and five 40 caliber spent shell casings were located in the residence.
Miller stated that he could not recall what had happened. He was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, second-degree criminal mischief and leaving scene of accident (failure to render aid or assistance).
