Police arrested a man who allegedly attempted to drive over a state trooper yesterday.
Officials say that the trooper tried to stop a car that was reported stolen but the driver refused to stop.
The driver, later on identified as Michael Osborne, led police on a car chase through Powell County. The trooper managed to corner the driver but the driver attempted to run over him. The trooper then fired shots at the car.
Osborne was also wanted in connection to an armed robbery.
He was arrested and now facing multiple charges including attempted murder of a police officer.
