Madison Middle School has issued a statement to parents stemming from a Snapchat post late today that is being shared heavily on socials. This post is below.
The school issued this statement as a result of the obvious concern of parents and officials.
Despite these type of school threats being a felony in Kentucky, they are becoming more and more common and disruptive to school officials, communities, law enforcement and of course, concerned parents. According to the school’s message,” the post does appear to have been made by a fake account that has been used previously to make unsubstantiated threats such as this.” Increased patrols will be at the school as an abundance of caution.
