This past Saturday, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office participated in the 2023 Special Olympics Polar Plunge at Texas Roadhouse in Lexington.
The event is a huge fundraising effort benefiting Special Olympics and their athletes.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office raised over $3,796 and was recognized as the Top Public Safety Fundraising Team. All donations went directly to Special Olympics Kentucky to provide year-round sports training and competition opportunities.
Chief Deputy Tony Terry says, “ We are happy to be able to participate and help those who make such a positive impact in this world ! Thank you to our sponsors for donating to such a worthy cause.”
