This Labor Day Weekend, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office has announced their staff will be conducting periodic traffic safety checkpoints at locations approved by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Policy and Procedures Manual. They state the checkpoints will be conducted in an effort to enforce the traffic laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky with special attention being paid to sobriety.
Madison County Approved Highway Traffic Safety Checkpoint Locations will be as follows.
KY 52 at Intersection of Moberly Road and Speedwell Road
KY 52 at Wildcat Drive
US 421 at KY 21
KY 876 at Bogie Mill Road
US 25 at KY 2328
KY 1986 (Union City) at Charlie Norris Rd. (KY 374)
