Tuesday night a two-vehicle accident involving a Madison County Sheriffs cruiser occurred near exit 87 in Richmond. The collision occurred just before 9 p.m.
The cruiser reportedly was traveling with lights and siren engaged to a call, when the collision occurred.
Two deputies in the car suffered minor injuries, a woman in the other vechicle was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation.
The accident happened in the city limits and the Richmond Police Department reconstruction team is investigating the cause.
