Madison County Detention Center personnel alerted local authorities and EMT’s Tuesday afternoon regarding an inmate’s condition, that was described as suffering a medical episode.
Response units arrived just after 5:30 and transported Anthony Gordon, 53 of Waco, to Baptist Health for treatment, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Gordons body was taken to Frankfort for autopsy results.
Kentucky State Police is heading up the death investigation.
