The Madison County Fiscal Court is inviting residents, business owners, and stakeholders in the County to take part in upcoming public visioning workshops and a countywide survey to help shape the future of our community.
In a press release late Tuesday afternoon, the membership says a comprehensive plan will serve as a roadmap for responsible growth—addressing land use, infrastructure, housing, economic development, public safety, and natural resource protection. As Madison County continues to grow, this update ensures that decisions are guided by community values, thoughtful planning, and a shared vision for the future.
“This process is about listening and making sure every voice in Madison County has an opportunity to be heard,” said Judge/Executive Reagan Taylor. “Strong communities are built on engagement, and we want to hear directly from the people who live and work here. We would love for every Madison Countian to take the survey, attend a public meeting, or both. Your input is critical to defining our direction and ensuring we grow in a way that reflects our shared values and priorities.”
The public visioning workshops will provide an opportunity for participants to share ideas, identify priorities, and collaborate on key issues facing the county. These interactive sessions are designed to gather meaningful input that will directly inform the plan’s goals and strategies, according to the press release.
In addition to attending a workshop, residents are encouraged to complete a brief online survey. The survey offers a convenient way for individuals to provide feedback on topics such as growth, transportation, housing, recreation, and economic opportunities.
Community participation is critical to ensuring the Comprehensive Plan reflects the needs and aspirations of all residents. Whether you’ve lived in Madison County your whole life or are new to the area, your input matters.
