A number of Madison county agencies such as the Richmond Fire and Police Departments as well as Madison County EMS have partnered up with Habitat for Humanity for Madison and Clark Counties in order to help those in need. Called Habitat for Humanity First Responders Build, this initiative will see to it that a Madison County family will have a brand new place to call home.
We spoke to Corey Lewis of the Richmond Fire Department who says that this program is just beginning, and they are hoping to accomplish a lot for those that need it most during these cold winter months.
