The Madison County Fair gets underway this Friday night with a jam packed week of events. Today, exhibits were accepted at the fairgrounds in many divisions including canning, food, horticulture, honey, and other categories.
Friday the exhibits will be in Willis Hall and open to the public from 6-8. Some other very fun events are slated for the Friday night kick off including a ‘back seat driver” lawn tractor contest, the pony pull, the Hall’s Motorsports mud run, and the in range archery.
Saturday is packed with fun things to do all day, there’s a swap meet from 8 until 2, the poultry and rabbit shows at 10 am, and Saturday night features all kinds of fun like the Foggy Bottom petting zoo, KOI truck and ATV drags, the amazing horseback mounted shooters, pre-teen, teen and Miss pageants, community honor awards and another big mud run.
There is a huge carnival and midway to enjoy this year too at the fair. You can get a Friday AND Saturday ticket now for only $15 for 6 and over. That INCLUDES the carnival.
