Today a Madison County Deputy Jailer, Zachariah Willis age 32 of Berea, was arrested by officer Austin Miniard of the Richmond Police department, while he was on duty at the Madison County Detention Center.

Willis was arrested on a on a warrant out of Montgomery County for 4th degree assault. This is Willis’s third 4th degree assault charge on record. According to the citation, Willis’s arrest location was 107 West Irvine Street, the address of the Madison County Detention Center. Willis was lodged into the Montgomery County Jail this afternoon and was released on a 2500-dollar cash bond according to jail officials in Montgomery County.
