A software system that was developed internally by employees of Madison County Government has received a national award.

Madison County Government and their ‘Tracks: digital revolution and paperless government platform’ has been recognized with an Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties.
You might be familiar with the ‘Tracks’ software if you have ever checked to see where the snow trucks are in the winter. The ‘Track’ system has been expanded to include Animal Tracks, Business Tracks, Election Tracks, HR Tracks, Mow Tracks, Road Tracks, Tax Tracks and several other portals.
Madison county was the only Kentucky County selected for an achievement award this year and was among counties like Miami- Dade County, Los Angeles County, and San Diego County for achievement in information technology.
Madison County has offered this award-winning software to both of their city partners in Berea and Richmond so they, too, can take advantage of this digital platform and utilize the systems developed by Madison County at no cost.
Madison County Judge Executive Reagan Taylor said, ” I couldn’t be more proud of our team being recognized on a national stage for their outstanding work. I see every day the impact our IT department has had on the cost savings and efficiencies in our county government. This is a great example of our innovation, use of technology, and how our team is making life better for everyone in Madison County.
