A former Sonic restaurant manager was indicted after allegedly stealing more than $12,000 from the restaurant. According to an arrest citation, the Berea Police said Maynard had been “skimming cash” from the restaurant sometime between January and March.
Tanner Maynard, Berea, was indicted July 26 on a felony charge of theft by unlawful taking over $10,000.
Maynard admitted he took cash from the business safe on various occasions. Maynard could face a five to 10 year sentence.
