As the 2024-25 basketball season comes to a close, local homeschool teams reflect on their hard work, challenges, and achievements on the court.
The Richmond Guardians boys’ basketball team finished the season with a 4-16 record. Despite the tough season, standout player Steven Morrison led the team with an impressive 14 points per game. Max Conley made a significant impact in the paint, averaging six rebounds per contest.
On the girls’ side, the Richmond Guardians finished with a 6-10 record. Addie Lauren was a dominant force, leading the team in scoring with 13 points per game while also contributing eight rebounds and two blocks per contest. Her sister, Hayden Lauren, was a defensive standout, leading the team with three steals and two assists per game.
The Madison Christian Academy Knights wrapped up their season with a 10-14 record. The team bid farewell to three senior athletes: Liam Thomas, Abram Strunk, and Jaxon Hampton, who played vital roles throughout the year. Two Knights players, Chris Middleton and Jacob Burris, earned spots on the East Region All-Star team, highlighting their outstanding performances this season.
With the season now concluded, players and coaches look ahead to continued growth and success in the coming years.
