During the Fourth of July fireworks and festivities on Independence day, thieves in Richmond cut the gate at Northside Equipment. Marisa Hempel spoke to owner operator Mike Pearson who said that while they searched the property, one large mower was stolen, valued at almost $14,000. The Kubota ZD1211 had been driven off the property with a pre-made key, possibly on a covered trailer according to Pearson. This is apparently one in a string of similar thefts in the area, and anyone with information is highly encouraged to contact Richmond Police Department, who are working the case.
