An eight month narcotics trafficking investigation by the Lincoln County Sheriffs office has reached a bit of a breakthrough. According to police, on Feburary 21st, at approximately 9 p.m., Bluegrass 911 Communications received a call regarding a juvenile that had consumed suspected drugs and was experiencing an adverse reaction to it.
Lincoln County Emergency Medical Service and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. Through investigation, a search warrant was secured through Lincoln District Court. Upon executing the search warrant at an out building located in the 2400 block of Ky HWY 501, Deputies located several guns, one of which was reported stolen from Richmond Police Department. Also located was approximately 1.0 ounces of suspected methamphetamine. Also located was digital scales, baggies, and glass smoking pipes. Charges are pending as the suspect was not located.
