Lincoln County High School students were transported to alternate sites for dismissal this afternoon stemming from threats made earlier today. The middle and high schools were placed on lock down today. According to the Lincoln County Public Schools, high school students were being transported to alternate locations for dismissal. Those included Lincoln County Board of Education, the Stanford Baptist gym, and Stanford Baptist Church.
Student drivers were also transported to alternate locations.
School officials are urged parents to leave phone lines at the schools open and not to physically come to campus.
They add, there have been no incidents or injuries reported. Stanford Police is investigating the matter.
