His Heart Outreach Ministry and The Lighthouse Pentecostal church are beginning plans to build a homeless shelter in Berea. The project is in its early stages and began in December. Pastor of Lighthouse Pentecostal David Frymyer is hopeful that ground will be broken soon. Organizer of His Heart Outreach Jennifer Whittemore told us that she wants the shelter to bring homeless off the street, help them overcome their problems and then live normal lives. Whittemore said that she herself was a homeless addict and wants the homeless to know that their is hope.
