A Lexington man is now facing a burglary charge after an alleged drunken panty raid.
According to police, they were approached by a man who had surveillance footage of the suspect stealing underwear from a woman’s home.
The footage, according to police, appears to show 28-year-old Nathaniel Wylie stealing the underwear from a hamper before then leaving the apartment. Officers report they later located the undergarments in a trash can outside of Wylie’s home.
Wylie allegedly admitted to police later on that he had been intoxicated during this time and said that it was a last minute decision to break into the victim’s home.
He was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
